My child has been taking debate classes at Thinking Leap for over a year now. This semester, due to scheduling conflicts, I transferred my child from the Taipei Arena classroom to the Linkou classroom. The course continuity was smooth, and my child really likes the teachers and environment here . I'm also very grateful for the staff's detailed explanations and introductions, which allowed my child to attend classes with peace of mind. Another convenient aspect is that my child can attend supplementary classes at any of the branches, giving parents flexibility in arranging the time and location!
My two children are taking debate and writing classes here, respectively. I think the teachers and the staff are all very dedicated, attentive, and kind! They are very willing to help my child improve in each subject , and they are very helpful in answering any questions from parents or children. After only a few classes, I already see progress in debate, and I'm sure my child will improve in writing as well ! The teachers are also very encouraging, giving my child more confidence to take on challenges.
Both of my children are taking classes here. I searched online for a long time and was surprised to find such a great course. I think it's really suitable for training children's logic and critical thinking . The teachers here are very professional, enthusiastic and patient, and the support system is also very well established!
The thought-provoking debate course, which incorporates current events from both domestic and international perspectives, is what impressed me most! The foreign teachers also teach children the secrets to finding information and how to quickly organize the data at hand. While teaching techniques for arguing and refuting, they also encourage students to consider different angles and develop a critical thinking approach. Without realizing it, I've noticed a significant improvement in my child's writing skills, especially during preparation when they practice organizing their thoughts and expressing them simply and clearly in writing. Over this period, I've seen remarkable progress in my child's oral expression, confidence, and logical structure, and they've become increasingly interested in the subject !
After trying one class, my child said she wanted to enroll for the entire semester. Besides the teacher's professionalism, enthusiasm, and positive attitude, she was also able to freely express her thoughts and theories! In addition, it can also train my child's response and answering skills, which I believe will be very helpful for her future learning.
